The link audits itself

A Hipobuy product path literally names the marketplace it will buy from. That is unusually transparent: you can confirm at a glance that a listing is a Weidian item before paying anything, and if the item is not from that marketplace the link simply will not resolve.

Use it as a filter. When you compare the same bag across platforms, a link that names its source is one less assumption in the chain.

The three-point inspection for bags

Hardware first. Ask for the clasp, zip puller and any logo plate photographed close up in daylight. You are judging engraving sharpness and machining marks — colour is easy to reproduce, machine finish is not.

Stitching second: the four corners and where the strap meets the body, because uneven spacing shows up there first. Lining third: a photo of the bag open, from above. That is the request sellers skip most often and the one that reveals material quality fastest.

Shipping a rigid bag without paying for air

A structured bag consumes fixed volume, and volume is what you are billed for. If the dust bag and box are optional for you, leaving the box behind often cuts the chargeable weight substantially — ask before the parcel is submitted, because repacking cannot be undone.

Small leather goods and belts are the opposite: near-zero volume and the best value per kilo in the category. Use them to fill a parcel whose weight is already being paid for.
