OOPBUY for sneakers: sizes, links and freight
OOPBUY is the route we point at most often for footwear, because the link format is simple and the category's risks are all visible in a warehouse photo — if you ask for the right shot.

How the link works, and why it matters
An OOPBUY product link carries the item id directly in its path, so one link covers every size and colourway of that listing. That is convenient, and it is also where most first-order mistakes come from: people assume the link carries the variant they saw, when in fact the variant is chosen on the order form.
So treat the link as an address, not as a specification. Re-read the variant line twice before paying — size, colour, quantity, and whether you want the box.
The measurement that prevents most size errors
Sizing is the single most common failure in this category, and it is almost entirely solvable with one request: the insole measured flat with a ruler, in centimetres. Not the box label, not a US letter — the number.
Take a pair you already wear comfortably, remove the insole and measure it the same way. Compare the two numbers. A centimetre of difference changes the fit; a letter never told you anything in the first place.

- The size tag inside the shoe, photographed flat
- Heel and outsole at three-quarters — where silhouettes diverge
- Midsole seam line along its whole length
Keeping freight proportionate
A pair's shipping cost is driven by its packed volume, not its price. Flat low-profile pairs fill chargeable weight cheaply; chunky runners and boots can multiply it several times over, and a retail box adds volume that costs more than the box is worth.
The efficient first order is one pair you actually want plus two or three flat items from other categories. That combination uses chargeable weight well, which is what makes the freight feel reasonable rather than surprising.
| Style | Packed volume | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Low-profile trainers | Lowest per pair | Great companion item |
| Running shoes | Compact, some heel bulk | Good value per kilo |
| Chunky runners / boots | Highest per pair | Plan a parcel around it |
What to escalate, and what to accept
Accept the small stuff: adhesive residue on a midsole, creases from packing, a slightly soft box. Escalate anything that changes what you actually received: the wrong colourway, inconsistent sizing across the pair, a visible gap at the sole junction, or two shoes that differ in shape.
Do all of that before the parcel is submitted. Once either pair is inside an international shipment, returning it costs more than most pairs are worth.
